At a national conference in Atlanta held in October, NMSU’s Cooperative Extension Service 4-H agents were recognized for high-quality programming that benefits over 40,000 youth — earning national, service, and regional awards for innovative leadership.

NM State Athletics announced key staff additions with Molly Tye (deputy athletics director for internal operations), Eric Crawford, and Josh Hadley effective immediately to boost student-athlete support; athletics director Joe Fields said the new structure positions the department for continued success.

On Thursday, NM State's men's basketball team rallied from a 17-point deficit to cut the gap to one before falling 73–71 at Liberty Arena.

Anthony Wrzeszcz led with 16 points as the team fought hard to complete their comeback effort.
