A local Parkinson’s support group meets monthly in Las Cruces where patients and caregivers learn about treatments, share tips and join activities.
They gather on the third Tuesday from 9–11 a.m. at Holiday Inn Express on Telshor and on the fourth Tuesday at Solstice Senior Living for those newly diagnosed.
The NMSU women's rugby team upset the defending national champion at the Collegiate Rugby Championship National 7s tournament in April 2025 near Washington, D.C.
Coach Justin Karrenberg said the growing team, now with 35 players, will compete in spring tournaments in New Mexico and Colorado.
