Spring festival season begins in Las Cruces — today a poster signing kicks off the student-run International Film Festival at NM Farm and Ranch Heritage Museum with films running Apr.

8-12 and downtown’s 4th Annual ¡mira! Fest starting Apr. 24-25.

After moving in 2021, Georgiana Hernandez joined the Doña Ana County Senior Olympics after a bulletin announcement and now leads local power walking sessions — building friendships and boosting community health as she volunteers with grassroots fitness initiatives.
