NM State baseball lost 10 to 2 to nationally ranked UTSA Friday night at Presley Askew Field at Johnson Stadium — UTSA built an early lead with two unearned runs and a four-run fourth while the Aggies scored only in the ninth after a power outage.

NM State closed its regular season with a 79-76 win over Kennesaw State Saturday at Pan American Center, with strong plays from Julius Mims, Gabe Pickens and Jemel Jones.

The Aggies secured the 10th CUSA seed and will face Jax State on Tuesday in Huntsville, Alabama.
