Neighborhood watch captains have started quarterly meetings to bring different groups together in Las Cruces and share ideas on improving neighborhood safety—working closely with Officer Charli Velasco from the police department.
Velasco offers guidance on where to install cameras, fencing, or signage and shares crime statistics and response tips to help residents act quickly.
