HEALTH NEWS

  • Christine May, who served as chief financial officer for 20 years, retired recently from Mesilla Valley Hospice where employees and volunteers create a warm, caring atmosphere. The team continues to deliver compassionate care (and essential support) to patients and their families.  The Las Cruces Bulletin

SPORTS NEWS

  • The NM State softball team battled Saturday afternoon at the NM State Softball Complex but fell 7+5 to Western Kentucky after a decisive four-run fifth inning gave the Hilltoppers the lead; late home runs sparked hope but could not close the gap.  The Las Cruces Bulletin
  • NM State Athletics announced on March 23 a three-year deal with Inn of the Mountain Gods to feature its logo on football, basketball, volleyball, baseball & softball uniforms starting 2026-27. This historic deal makes NM State the first in Conference USA with a jersey patch partner.  The Las Cruces Bulletin
  • NM State's baseball team rallied on Saturday at Reese Smith Jr. Field but Middle Tennessee held a steady lead to win 8+7. The Aggies made a late push with hits from Lombardi and Rulli, yet their rally wasn't enough to overcome the deficit.  The Las Cruces Bulletin
  • The Aggie track and field team won six events and claimed 17 podium spots Friday and Saturday at the NMSU Track & Field Complex in Las Cruces. Alesha Lane set new bests in the hammer throw and discus, and the squad will begin split competitions on Wednesday, April 1.  The Las Cruces Bulletin
