CRIME NEWS
- ➤ A grand jury indicted Tomas Rivas and three minors on charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for a shooting at Young Park that killed three and injured 15 on March 21, and the defendants will be arraigned on April 7. The Las Cruces Bulletin
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Las Cruces Community Theatre is showing Rossum’s Universal Robots today with performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday through April 13. The production mixes futuristic ideas with a classic style of acting—aiming to offer local audiences a unique view of this historic play. The Las Cruces Bulletin
- ➤ Camerata Del Sol is holding free concerts as part of its season featuring Mendelssohn’s Octet in E-flat Major, Haydn’s String Quartet, and a piece by local composer Albert Yoshimoto — led by artistic director Daniel Vega-Albela with guest cellist Joel Becktell. The concerts take place today at 7 p.m. at Grapes Gallery in Truth or Consequences, on April 5 at 7:30 p.m. at Atkinson Recital Hall in Las Cruces, and on April 6 at 3:30 p.m. at the Woman’s Club in El Paso — a suggested donation of $15 supports future shows.
