Today, Las Cruces hosts a busy schedule with theater shows like 'The Play That Goes Wrong' at the Rio Grande Theatre running through April 6 plus a Physics Fun Day at Gardiner Hall from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Local events this week include markets, film festivals and guided walks that will offer diverse activities through April 10.
A grand jury indicted Tomas Rivas and three minors on charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder for a shooting at Young Park that killed three and injured 15 on March 21, and the defendants will be arraigned on April 7.
Las Cruces Community Theatre is showing Rossum’s Universal Robots today with performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday through April 13.

The legislature passed a bill to fund a new 783-acre state park in Doña Ana County with about $9 million and it is now waiting for the governor’s signature—Sen. Jeff Steinborn said the park will offer hiking, bird watching and camping while improving public safety.
