- ➤ The New Mexico Supreme Court voided Mawu Ekon Revels' first-degree murder conviction from a 2021 Las Cruces house party shooting on April 7—sending his case back to district court for new sentencing and a possible retrial after judges ruled aggravated assault cannot be used as the predicate felony for murder.
