Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra will close its season spanning 2024 to 2025 with two concerts at Atkinson Recital Hall — the first on Saturday, April 12 at 7:30 p.m. and the second on Sunday, April 13 at 3 p.m. The program will feature Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, Shostakovich’s Symphony No. 5 and a youth performance of Hovhaness’ Psalm and Fugue for String Orchestra as guest conductor Scott Lucas previews next season.
The Las Cruces International Airport presented a draft master plan today that calls for runway extensions, terminal renovations and parking expansion.
The plan will use FAA grants + state funds with a small city match and will be submitted for council approval at the next meeting.
Measles cases in New Mexico rose to 54—52 in Lea County and two in Eddy County, mostly among unvaccinated residents.
