- ➤ New Mexico State University will celebrate its newly achieved Carnegie R1 status during Research and Creativity Week from April 23 to April 29 with over 25 events on and off campus. The week will feature keynote speeches by Talitha Washington and Ramona Emerson, a panel discussion by Luis Cifuentes, and research presentations from over 500 participants — showcasing the work of students, faculty, and staff.
