  • Rebel Creek Radio, a Las Cruces-based country band, is gaining a loyal following by reimagining 90s country hits — the band chose its name on a spur-of-the-moment suggestion and now delights fans with its unique sound.  The Las Cruces Bulletin
  • The Mesilla Valley Music Festival will debut in Las Cruces from May 8 to 10, featuring orchestral + recital + jazz performances that aim to increase access to classical music and engage regional talent. ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • An American Lung Association report released on Earth Day shows the El Paso-Las Cruces area ranks No. 16 among 226 metro areas for ozone pollution, averaging 16.7 high ozone days between 2022 and 2024. The ranking ties the region with Sacramento-Roseville and underscores ongoing air quality concerns in the Paso del Norte airshed.  Las Cruces Sun News
