  • Federal authorities arrested former Doña Ana County Magistrate Judge Joel Cano + his wife, Nancy, on April 24th after Cano smashed a cellphone and Nancy planned to delete a social media account to hide evidence linking a Venezuelan man accused of illegal firearms possession at their Las Cruces home.  The Las Cruces Bulletin

GOVERNMENT NEWS

  • Motorists are urged to reduce speed and follow posted signs as construction on I-25, I-10 and US 70 causes lane closures and detours from April 27 to May 4. Local departments and contractors will work from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on most projects plus some night shifts for resurfacing, so drivers should plan extra travel time.  The Las Cruces Bulletin
