- ➤ The Las Cruces Parks & Recreation Department is accepting entries for lighted floats for the Electric Light Parade with the theme Las Cruces Unidos that will take place on July 3; entries can be submitted online or in person by June 18 at 5 p.m. Participants driving float vehicles or representing clubs must attend meetings on June 26 and 27 — clubs are limited to 20 vehicles — with the parade starting at 9 p.m. at Apodaca Park and ending at the Maag Softball Complex after traveling on Solano Drive and Hadley Avenue.
