- ➤ Josiah Perrault, an 18-year-old, was fatally shot on Walnut Street on May 8 by a Las Cruces police officer—another man sustained non-life-threatening injuries and a news conference to share more details is scheduled for May 20 at 11:30 a.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. Las Cruces Sun News
