Tina Ballew returned to Las Cruces to build a creative studio after years of moving and work in Alaska and beyond.

Las Cruces Public Schools finished the year with celebrations and community engagement while addressing declining enrollment trends.
The district plans renovations at Mayfield High School (a historic campus) and will invite input from families at upcoming public meetings.
Brianna Simons left high school and re-engaged with learning by enrolling in the Adult Education program at Doña Ana Community College, where direct teacher support helped her complete her GED.

The Level 9 athlete trains nearly 20 hours a week while managing school and will compete at nationals next.
