Housing New Mexico held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for The Three Sisters Apartments in Las Cruces on May 13 as they celebrated a new affordable housing development.
The project offers 70 apartments that come in one, two or three bedrooms along with playgrounds, garden areas and a community building—funded by multiple public and private sources.
New Mexico State University seniors Eva Cullen and Athena McPeake won multiple awards at the Theatre Department’s Annual Awards Banquet on May 8 at the University Center for the Arts.
Cullen earned the Hershel Zohn Award and best overall student technician while McPeake was honored for best leading performance in Mother Courage—along with other students recognized for various technical and acting achievements.
