The annual San Juan Fiesta Turtle Fest will take place Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28 at the Shrine and Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Tortugas.
The festivities include a four-player golf tournament, dancing, turtle races, and family events — raising funds for the parish.
🌲 Environment
The SunZia Wind project will begin commercial operations later this month in central New Mexico — generating about 3,650 MW from 916 turbines located in Torrance, Lincoln, and San Miguel counties.
It is expected to serve the Southwest with renewable energy and boost local economic benefits.
