Memorial Medical Center’s LaunchPoint Nurse Residency Program earned reaccreditation from the American Nurses Credential Center’s Practice Transition Accreditation Program in May, making it the only program in southern New Mexico to hold this recognition amid a local nursing shortage. The program was created in April 2021 to help new nurses gain real-world skills for the transition from school to work—bridging a critical gap in nurse training.
