Party Falcon, a local band that brings back 80s nostalgia, will perform at Elephant Ranch — where fans can enjoy live music from 7–10 p.m. on October 25.
Formed in Chaparral — the band has grown from childhood jam sessions into regular shows as it prepares to expand its concert schedule.
Nacha Mendez—a nationally acclaimed singer, composer, and New Mexico State University alumna—was selected by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham as one of seven recipients of the Governor’s Award for Excellence in the Arts.
She also leads a music scholarship program that supports young girls learning music.
Tabitha Rossman, a professional photographer, shared her journey overcoming severe dyslexia thanks to support from the Dyslexia Institute of Southern New Mexico (nonprofit status achieved in 2010).
The institute (active during Dyslexia Awareness Month) helps students learn and succeed.
Missouri State Bears vs. New Mexico State Aggies Football
