  • SkyFiesta 2025 brought over 10,000 people on Saturday and over 1,000 on Friday, including more than 4,000 youth and 1,500 veterans, to Las Cruces International Airport where safe air shows, vendors, and international participants boosted local businesses. EDUCATION NEWS

  • A New Mexico State University professor and her team developed an AI method that can predict disruptive solar flares eight months to a year in advance—letting governments and businesses prepare with a model built on 53,000 days of sunspot data and a 95% confidence level.   • New Mexico State University Global Campus is offering flexible online engineering programs that let working professionals earn advanced degrees and certificates—allowing them to work full-time while studying.
