  • Award-winning documentary 'First We Bombed New Mexico' will be screened at 7 p.m. on Nov. 22 at the Rio Grande Theater (Main St) in Las Cruces. The film follows cancer survivor Tina Cordova in her fight for justice and includes a Q&A session (discussing RECA eligibility) for affected residents.  The Las Cruces Bulletin

EDUCATION NEWS

  • The New Mexico State University Foundation announced that Debra Marks was promoted to vice president of philanthropic giving and alumni relations, and she will lead efforts to boost fundraising and community engagement. Marks, a longtime local leader who has served in various Foundation roles—including as assistant vice president of philanthropic giving and director of major gifts—will work with university officials and community groups to build lasting partnerships.  The Las Cruces Bulletin

  • NM State secured a 74-58 win—bolstered by strong play from senior guard Jemel Jones—against New Mexico Highlands on Tuesday night at Lou Henson Court, with contributions from freshman forward Augustine Ekwe and Anthony Wrzeszcz helping the Aggies build their lead.  The Las Cruces Bulletin
