  • From Friday November 28 through Thursday December 4, Las Cruces is hosting a busy lineup of community events including the free One Huge Fiesta downtown featuring games, animal displays, first responders, Santa and live music—along with Farmers & Crafts Markets, NMSU Aggies football, and performances of A Christmas Carol and a free Philharmonic concert. Other events include fundraisers, educational presentations on WWII subjects, and various meetings scheduled at local venues throughout the week.  The Las Cruces Bulletin

CULTURE NEWS

  • Chef Armando Murillo (executive chef at the Las Cruces Convention Center) was born in Las Cruces and uses creative freedom to lead themed dinners that bring locals together while he shares his passion for cooking. SPORTS NEWS

  • Las Cruces High used its running game to beat La Cueva 44 to 7 in the state semifinal, with Daniel Amaro rushing for 234 yards to boost the Bulldogs to a record of 12 to 0. They will face Cleveland in the championship rematch on Nov 29 at 1 p.m. + the team had earlier won 38 to 34 in their first meeting.  The Las Cruces Bulletin
